Gauteng Rhino Run will be hosted at the beautiful Intundla Game Lodge & Bush Spa this year

Only 30 minutes from Pretoria and less than an hour from Joburg makes it easy for commuters to attend this wonderful event and very worthy cause. Special Accommodation Rates at Intundla from Friday the 20th to Wednesday the 15th September. Make a long weekend of it and join us for Heritage Day on the 24th of September.

The primary objective of The Rhino Run is to raise funds and awareness for the war on rhino poaching.

The inaugural Rhino Run in 2012 raised R130,000. This year The Rhino Run will consist of 7 separate trail running events all happening on the same day around South Africa. This year the World Rhino Day is hoping to raise at least R250 000.

The Rhino Run will be raising funds for the following beneficiaries: –

The Rhino Injection Fund, OSCAP (Outraged South African Citizens Against Poaching) and the Chipembere Rhino Foundation.
All funds raised by The Rhino Run from the race registration fees and the sale of their limited edition custom made Rhino Run race shirts, will be shared between these 3 initiatives. Any funds raised through online donations and The Rhino Run Business Challenge will go directly to the funds – that means no intermediate handling of these funds by any organisers.

Registration opens at 06h30, pre-race briefing at 08h30 and the race will begin promptly at 09h00.
There will be 3 different routes through the Intundla Game Lodge & Bush Spa reserve for all fitness levels, 6km, 12km and 20km.

There will be Food and beverages on sale for all the spectators and participants.
